"REFERENCE 4 HC" PASSIVE FILTER

Reference 4 HC is the biggest ANGSTROM RESEARCH filter and is designed for systems with very high current absorption. It is housed in a mil-standard metal container with tuned frame to avoid resonance.
It has completely suspended cabling with visible components using high working temperature AWG 16 wires with Teflon insulation (mil - AWM1569 _ 105c/1007).

Completely passive, using RCL filtering cells with high inductance values.
It comprises four stages with a high cutoff slope:
the two central very high ampere filtering stages are dedicated to the amplifiers, while the two lateral stages are dedicated to the other system elements, which on average, have low absorption.
The filter has completely separate power supplies to ensure that each appliance is separately powered (this is important to prevent each appliance from transmitting induction to the others).
It has an independent earth system for every output, easily removed using the jacks on the back of the frame. This makes it possible to individually choose whether or not to connect each appliance to the earth system.

REFERENCE 4 HC has six dedicated outputs with multiuse sockets.
The front panel is made of anodised aluminium in hand pantograph decorated black or silver.
It has four warning lights which indicate the operation of each filtering stage and a central instrument which indicates the mains voltage. The frame is larger than that of the other two models to contain all the components used, which obviously having a greater capacity also have larger volumes. Possibility of personalising the number of outputs and the number of stages to order.
